Introducing Mountain View Chiropractor Patrick McCauley

The Chiropractor To See In Los Altos

“I’m going to see a real doctor”, this is what I told my new boss, a chiropractor, when I would seek treatment for injuries sustained while playing semi-professional football.

After several treatments with no improvement I decided to give chiropractic a try. I immediately felt improvement and after a couple more treatments I was at full strength and able to play football again. This was my 1st experience with chiropractic care which began in January of 1991.

After working in this office for several years I was able to see some amazing results, not just with patients care but with their lives. I had the opportunity be part of a lot of people whose lives were changing. This was very rewarding. I knew chiropractic was what I had to do. I began my studies with evening classes at Foothill College in Los Altos California. Once I satisfied the requirements I was accepted at Palmer Collage of Chiropractic West. During my time at Palmer,  I could not believe how intense the courses were but it was in those courses that I began to realize how amazing our bodies are and how the chiropractic profession has an understanding of what the body is capable of.

My most inspiring moments came when I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to visit Palmer College in Davenport Iowa where the original campus and the founder’s mansion is located. What an amazing experience to see the history behind the growth of this great profession.

In my experiences as a Chiropractic Assistant, Doctor, and now owner, I believe that most of what we strive for every day is quality of life! This is my goal for everyone that enters my practice. I want to help change or improve your quality of life. This quality is different for everyone. It may be having the ability to pick up your grandchildren or adding a few yards on your golf game, whatever it is for you I am here to do what I can to help.

Our practice looks at the whole person and we use a complete program designed to improve all aspects of your health from biomechanics to nutrition and exercise. We believe that if we can help improve your health and mobility then you can live life to its fullest.

Working in this practice has given me my whole life, as this is where I met my wonderful wife, Nichole. She became our Chiropractic Assistant in 1997 and from the moment I met her, I was hooked. We now have two amazing children, my beautiful two and half year old daughter, Grace and my 3 month old son, Dylan. Besides my Family and my practice I have a passion for muscle cars and hot rods. I currently have 1970 Camaro (red with white stripes) that I had finished restoring nearly 5 years ago. Additionally, I have two other projects another 1970 Camaro, currently in the paint shop, (silver with black stripes) and a 1971 4x4 that is in my garage getting some work done on the suspension. I try to do most of the work myself. As a family we enjoy going to the parks and especially the zoo. When the kids get a little older we plan on going to Disney Land as I have never been. I can’t wait!

As a chiropractor, I practice what I preach. My family and I get adjusted on a regular basis as I am very active with working out and mountain bike riding. I believe strongly in taking care of my family naturally. My children have not received any medication whatsoever and that includes vaccinations (if this interests you, just ask). I do not like the concept of taking a pill for every symptom that arises. ALL medications have a side effect.

Enough about me! Now how about you? I’m looking forward to meeting you in person and discussing your challenges and how chiropractic care can restore your quality of life. Giving our office a call is the first step toward better health and more importantly a better quality of life.

Dr. McCauley Asks some important questions of interest to Mountain View residents - Chiropractor Mountain View Dr. McCauley Asks...

Could a chiropractor put an end to bedwetting?
If bladder control seems elusive, consider chiropractic. If spinal bones are interfering with nerves that control your child's bladder, plastic sheets, alarms and other methods simply add to the embarrassment. Mountain View parents are often amazed (and relieved) that chiropractic can be so helpful. Learn more.
How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
